The University of Vienna (19 faculties and centres, 178 fields of study, <br>approx. 9.600 members of staff, about 92.000 students) seeks to fill the <br>position as soon as possible of a <br> <br> <br> University Assistant (post <br> doc) <br> <br> <br> at the <br> Research <br> Platform Responsible Research and Innovation in Academic Practice <br> <br> <br> <br>Reference number: 9111 <br> <br>The research platform investigates the meaning and role of <br>responsibility towards society in research practices at universities. <br>Besides the existing activities of the platform, the thematic focal <br>points in the next years will be: handling of data (big data, open data) <br>and related questions of societal responsibility, research integrity, as <br>well as analyses of controversial debates at the interface of academic <br>research and society. <br>The research team is interdisciplinary (science and technology studies <br>and life sciences).
