New book (open access): Criminal Futures. Predictive Policing and Everyday Police Work

Dear colleagues,

Please excuse the self-promotion, but since we believe it might be of interest for some people here, we would like to announce the publication of Criminal Futures: Predictive Policing and Everyday Police Work (Routledge, 2021).

In the book, we analyse how algorithms and data-driven analytics transform the socio-technical system of policing based on multi-year field research in Germany and Switzerland.

The open access eBook can be downloaded here: https://doi.org/10.4324/9780429328732

Information on the book can also be found at the publisher's website: https://www.routledge.com/Criminal-Futures-Predictive-Policing-and-Everyday-P olice-Work/Egbert-Leese/p/book/9780367349264

All the best, Simon & Matthias
