Call for Papers --Cosmic Glossary

We invite contributions of cosmic keywords and concepts for a social
studies 'guide' to outer space, intended for publication with Cultural
Anthropology
.

As outer space emerges as a key site of social science research, this
cosmic compendium will offer alternative vantages for better
understanding the cosmos and what it can tell us about ourselves.

Entries should be c. 500 words and can include images, sounds or other
multimedia that can be published in an online collection. The format
follows Cultural Anthropology's Lexicon for an Anthropocene Yet Unseen, that
you can find here
https://culanth.org/fieldsights/series/lexicon-for-an-anthropocene-yet-unseen

To help build this galactic glossary, please send abstracts of 50-75 words
to:

Alexander Taylor (aret2@cam.ac.uk) and Tamara Alvarez (
alvat032@newschool.edu).

Deadline for abstracts: the new moon of 28 September

Deadline for full entries: 1 December
