CALL FOR ABSTRACTS:
ISA RC52 invites all Early Career Researchers (PhD students, postdocs and
assistant professors) to submit abstracts to our Special Session,
“Highlighting Early Career Researchers in the Sociology of Professional
Groups.” The aim of this session is to highlight emerging research in the
sociology of professional groups by focusing on early career researchers.
Postgraduate, PhD student and Postdoctoral researchers are invited to
submit abstracts on any topic within the sociology of professional groups.
Presenters will be selected based on submitted abstracts and career stage,
with a goal of having a diverse range of research topics and backgrounds.
This is an invited session, so the procedure differs from the regular
abstract submission process: it is not possible to submit abstracts online
for this session. To submit an abstract, please send a title, up to four
keywords, the names of the presenting author and co-authors, and an
abstract of maximum 300 words. The language of the session will be
English. Please
send your abstract to Alexandra Vinson, ECR Representative, at
ahvinson@umich.edu. The deadline for abstracts is 1 September 2019 (please
note the earlier deadline).
