CfP: How to organize STS in Germany? 20-21. Feb, Kassel

Call for participation: Workshop on “How to organize STS in Germany”
(20.-21.2.2019, Kassel)

At the 2018 EASST conference in Lancaster, more than a hundred scholars
came together to collectively explore how the growing STS community in
Germany could be best organised. Mindful of already existing initiatives
and the diversity of interests and expectations, it became clear that
the answer to this question needs to be developed gradually, with the
involvement of STS scholars working in or with Germany at all academic
levels. Based on the Lancaster experience and the conversations that
have developed since the EASST conference, we would like to take the
organisation process to the next level by convening a two-day workshop
in Kassel, to be held on the 20th and 21st of February 2019.

For more information see the full call for participation
and our
homepage (https://stsingermany2019.com/), where you can sign up for the
workshop until the 15th January 2019. In order to integrate as many
ideas and suggestions as possible, we also ask you to share your
thoughts with the organisation team via the registration form on our
website, via our discussion forum (sts-in-germany-org.forumprofi.de) or
Twitter (@German_STS_ORG ,
#STSinGermany). Feel free to share this call via your network.

We are looking forward to your input and lively discussions,

The organizing team
